For an even more calming effect, add a drop of lavender essential oil to each tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil.

It is important to boost your skin with hydration and nourishment, particularly during the winter when the combination of cold and hot air can seriously
de-hydrate our skin, and in the summer, to heal the damaging effects of exposure to the sun.

PREVENT STRETCH MARKS

It is very effective in preventing stretch marks if applied regularly from the early stages of pregnancy, applied by rubbing a few drop into the skin until completely absorbed in the more stretch-mark sensitive areas such as thighs, glutes, breasts and abdomen two or three times a day.

It helps to exfoliate first, using a horse-hair glove to get rid of dead skin cells; it also helps to start treatment as soon as possible, even before getting pregnant, and carry on during breastfeeding.

Thanks to its high content of vitamin E, oleic acid and polyphenols, Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a powerful anti-oxidant that helps protect from the attack of free radicals, therefore slowing down the sign of ageing.
