Aloe Vera also referred to as the ‘lily of the desert’, or the ‘wonder plant’ is an ancient therapeutic shrub. Aloe in Arabic means shining bitter substance, and vera in Latin means true. Its found in tropical and semi-tropical climates It is grown for both agricultural and medicinal purposes. Aloe Vera Juice contains the naturally cloudy juice of the plant, extracted from the fresh plant leaves (original Aloe Barbadensis Miller plant). Aloe vera is used topically for skin improvement and wounds.
Aloe Vera is renowned for its vast beneficial properties and has been used for treating skin complaints since ancient times. It may ease symptoms of acne, dermatitis &, psoriasis, and is also beneficial to soothe burns, stings, rashes and other skin irritations.
Aloe Vera is well respected for its application as a moisturizing agent. It contains vitamin B complex, folic acid, vitamin C and carotene (a precursor of vitamin A). It is already being commercially used in soaps, creams, lotions, and other cosmetics. The Aloe Vera Juice we sell is a thin liquid designed for application in manufacturing processes. It is safe for direct application to the skin, but should not be confused with a gel.
PLEASE NOTE: Pure Aloe Vera Gels are completely liquid in their natural form, they are not a thick ‘gel’ consistency like many shop-bought finished products. Those thick gel consistency can only be achieved by adding thickeners and other ingredients.
