Stearic acid is Natural fatty acid occurring in vegetable fats. Anionic oil-in-water emulsifier. It has effective thickening properties, Provides a soft, pearly and cooling feel on the skin. Often used in All kinds of personal care products including soaps, creams, lotions, foundation creams, liquefying creams, protective & shaving creams.
Stearic Acid is an effective stabilizer and thickener, also helps to harden products, such as candles and soap bars, can be used in formulating cleansing product to create a rich lather that feels velvety, Stearic acid is a co-emulsifier, emollient that can soften skin and help to keep products from separating.

USES: When added to lotion formulations, Stearic Acid functions as a thickening agent that contributes a richness to the texture of the final product. Recommended Usage for Lotions and Creams: 2-5%. Recommended Usage for forming Cleansers: 0.5%. Recommended Usage for Candles: 3-5%
